Mary Akemon

Currently, I manage email, sms, and social media for the second-largest union in the country. Previously I was Deputy Digital Director for Governor Phil Murphy's reelection campaign and before that, Digital Director for Congresswoman Cheri Bustos' campaign. In life before politics, I was the Director of Digital Media at a PR firm in D.C. and worked at cultural heritage institutions as a collections and archives assistant. My institutions included The Ringling Museum of Art, the Cartoon Museum, London, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Florida State Archives.
